MARK CONNOLLY

 

Mark focuses on development and engineering at Countryside. He is a construction and property development professional with over twenty years extensive and broad experience directing, developing and completing numerous high profile high value real estate projects. Qualifying as a Civil Engineer in 1993 Mark majored on geotechnical design engineering and then went on to work for the Canary Wharf Group PLC in the development and construction of Canary Wharf South. He managed the delivery of 40 Bank Street at Canary Wharf and then the delivery of the Beetham Hilton tower in Manchester and the Beetham Tower in Birmingham for the developer. He has successfully operated since 2009 a property development consultancy and more recently a Construction Management company where he has continued to deliver from concept large scale projects. Mark’s notable success amongst others was achieving planning permission for the £800m No 1 Blackfriars tower on London’s south bank.
